the WRONG HANDS!!

talitha: what is it with the human race? all new inventions seem to get into the wrong hands!!
mark s: erm what about velcro?
glyn: yes, what would the wrong hands do with velcro?

mark s, Sunday, 26 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

eventually we decided that in a sinister private education system, velcro could be used as a humiliating punishment:

Teacher: "Boy, put on your Suit of Justice!"
Boy: "No sir please sir!!"
Teacher: "Grrrrrrr!"
*Boy dons Suit of Justice*
*Teacher throws him against a great wall of velcro, from which he is only peeled off when punishment time is up*

Put other inventions in the WRONG HANDS please....

mark s, Sunday, 26 May 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

But surely velcro-jumping was a very real pastime (at least here in the US), so the Suit of Justice might not be any more effective than the Bungee of Justice discipline-wise.

(Although the then- discarded Suit of Justice's use as a black-market sex aid might be a good second-level falling into the wrong hands.)

Putty - 1984-style police state silences dissidents by taking them to the Ministry of Supreme Justice and Cottage Cheese then performs unspecified surgery on them, which entails placing ever-increasing (tiny) amounts of putty between their fingers and toes thus making said dissident think that evil govt has made them into a WEBBED-TOED MUTANT!

Botox - latest craze amongst frat boys: tranquilising their victim then botoxing said victim's anal sphincter into the 'open' position. Much hilarity ensues, cheers cheers.

This thread has already disturbed me greatly, and I demand monetary payments from all of you for my counseling (which will consist of sampling a variety of excellent wines).
