1) Is it an addiction I should get therapy for?
2) Hell, I'm curious to know: am I only one up for it on the East Coast?
3) If you already know, who have you placed your bets on? (As I'm not the law, I can't turn you in.)
4) In all seriousness, what will happen to the sport, if FIFA goes down the hole? Is the problem mismanagement, or what?

2) Pass
3) My bet is Italy. When I do my prediction chart, I always find a way to construct a scenario where England win. I will be disappointed. Cameroon as best outsiders.
4) FIFA has been ruined by endemic mismanagment and corruption, and pork barreling as common to most international sport associations (see the IOC and the IAAF). If it goes down the tubes, my fear is that power will come to be in the hands of an even more self- interested group, namely the top European clubs. FIFA needs to reform but I can't see it happening under Blatter. Shame.

2) Nearly all of my friends here in New York have talked of nothing else for weeks-- for me, months.
3) I drew Nigeria in a random WC pool, but I have no faith they'll win.
