oddly, I have never bothered to see this

Wrinkles, I'll See You On the Other Side (Shakey Mo Collier), Tuesday, 26 May 2009 17:08 (seventeen years ago)

jeez, i've seen it so many times. i can practically recite it (the same way the guy in the movie recites sweet smell of success.

anyway, i threw in barkin because she's kind of the movie's 5th beatle. also, she's ellen barkin.

hard for me not to vote for rourke, although it's also my favorite kevin bacon role. ("he was punching out the wise men?")

actually i think they're my favorite roles for all these guys.

xpost: and yeah, shrevie. one of cinema's great record geeks.

I know a few guys like Fenwick, and, yeah, I agree all these actors are amazing. Voted for Rourke, though, for being a true original (pouring the sugar down his throat; the way immaturity and wisdom co-exist in him).

Bud Huxtable (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Tuesday, 26 May 2009 17:19 (seventeen years ago)

Ha. I saw this for the first time a few weeks ago and considered making this poll. I think everyone was great (though Guttenberg grated at times), but Stern and Bacon probably gave the performances I liked the most. Went with Stern.
