i was going to vote dinklage but I realized I just can't pick against mr. carville's cajun style.

i voted Will Arnett, although he probably doesn't belong here. He had more of a recurring role. I'll always vote for Will Arnett in any poll because he's funny as all hell, and this role was particularly lol.

honorable mention must go to Elaine Stritch, although she too doesn't really belong in this poll. I guess I just like regulars more than true guests.

Paul Reubens was particularly funny, but it's really hard to pick a favorite.

it's kind of hard to judge when the setups brought about by characters were so great: like, kenneth and seinfeld and liz and oprah were real highlights.

I have to say I was 100% dead set against the Oprah episode until I saw it, at which point MASSIVE ROFFLES

I liked the Oprah episode lots.

I'm guessing Dr. Spaceman and Dennis Duffy have been excluded as borderline regulars and poll-spoilers -- to be fair, I would not be surprised if both of these guys have gotten more airtime than Josh or even Toof

What if every kid on every college campus was given new language — a phrase whose meaning could not be mistaken, that signaled peril for both sides, that might be more easily uttered?

One phrase that might work is “red zone” — as in, “Hey, we’re in a red zone,” or “This is starting to feel too red zone.” Descriptive and matter-of-fact, it would not implicitly assign aggressor and victim, but would flatly convey that danger — emotional, possibly legal — lay ahead.
