Yay! They are completely remodelling my bathroom for me, I'm getting a nice big shower now instead of the deformed one I had before! Yay!

What's making you happy today, damnit?

Ally, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I finally think my goddamn book review is going to be published this goddamn weekend, so my friends & family can stop hearing he brag about the goddamn thing. That'll make THEM happy...

Otherwise, my glass is completely empty and broken, and I've got pieces of it stuck in my foot. As always.

David Raposa, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Oh - Josh saying that I was funny today made me happy, too. Thanks, Josh! (Though I'm ALWAYS funny, damn it.)

David Raposa, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

My copy of the new Mercury Rev.

bnw, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Nothing's making me happy; I could use some cheering up. I won't bore you with the details.

Sean, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I was in the park earlier and my friend jumped off the climbing frame and cut his knee which made me happy because last time we went there, I lost my wallet and thought I was the most stupid man alive but I'm not, he is.

jamesmichaelward, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Drugs.

duane, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

the fact that I'm leaving that sinking ship of a job I work at

Mike Hanley, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Today I refused to drive to Boston, went to a movie, ran into people I didn't want to see, played video games at the mall, drove around listening to "Hit 'Em Up Style", the Misfits, and All Your Base Are Belong To Us, played Dreamcast, watched the Sox game, and read Tolstoy. It was just like every other day, nothing the least bit unusual happened. It all made me very happy. I've got sunshine in a bag.

I regained my words for my concept of morality after being stoned straight for at least a year, if not a lil' more. I watch my sister everyday go out late at night to chase boys. She's got mono AND a bladder infection, needs rest, but can't live without her daily dosage of "you look hot" even if the guy don't care and just wants her pants. She forgot that anyone can look good outside, it's about the guts. Here I was, fine for a year, but about two months ago I had to quit, I forgot my morality. It vanished and suddenly it seemd like doing anything was fine enough that I might as well fuck anything. I couldn't do it and today I remembered why. So, I'm happy:)

joe, Wednesday, 1 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I just was forced to tip my head back so that margaritas could be poured in my mouth. They ended up on my face, boobs and hair. It was fantastic.

Ally, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

congrats and or commiserations to all - I'm not happy, don't believe in it myself, but I'm content that I'm sitting in a dark room with lou reed/john cale singing samll town via mp3.

Geoff, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I just got a new job w/half up front.

Tracer Hand, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm still in Scotland with Jane the Glorious, ergo I'm happy by default. ;-)

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I got a new TV! wahoo! No more evenings of listening to short wave radio!

jel, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I have to assemble a chest of drawers this evening, and when I have finished I will have a great sense of achievement and being an independent woman who doesn't need men to put together her flat pack furniture. But I did need a man to carry it to my flat.

I find happiness in small things (not sexually though).

Emma, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Your brother does not count as a man.

Pete, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

looking in the mirror and realising that i am the most attractive woman alive.

lady die, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

He's more of a man than you'll ever be!

I am happy now as I have raided TopShop's accessories department.

Emma, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'm not in a good mood. I work in three places. Two of them are okay, the one I was in yesterday and am currently in is crap. I do try to look at things in the El-Salvador-prison light though, which is to say "At least I'm not in an El Salvadoran prison". That'd be no good.

Chris, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Update: Had some nice butter beans for lunch; happiness quotient on the rise!

Chris, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

He's Not Here, Thursday, 2 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Our city is swarming with hotties for the World Atheltic Championship

I'M GETTING PUBLISHED!

This Sunday! In the Hartford Courant! I can pick up advance copies of my article in a couple of hours! And I'm positively giddy! I'd be dancing right now (if I weren't @ work).

This damn clock needs to move faster, though.

David Raposa, Friday, 3 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

anthony, Friday, 3 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tracer Hand, Friday, 3 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

It is a Rodeo. It is fairly boring. It is just kind off odd that i belong. With all the Freudians on the board ...
