not sure which is my favorite, although "the veldt" is maybe the obvious front-runner. "the last night of the world" always gets me. i had a dream based on it once.

The Long Rain, but The Last Night Of The World, Zero Hour and The Highway run it close. Anyone seen the film version with Rod Steiger? I forget if it was any good or not.

only the "veldt" section of it, which we watched in one of my high-school english classes. (in retrospect i'm realizing how many of my teachers padded out the curriculum with video days...)
