People Talking on Cell Phones in Public Restrooms C/D

I started noticing this a few years back, but it was about as common as someone slumping over with a needle in their arm in the stall next to me--which means about once a week. (This is Philly.) But now every time I go into a public restroom there's a guy yakking it up on a cell phone. None of these conversations ever sound important enough that they couldn't have been postponed until after the dump had taken place. Does the person on the other end of the line know that they're talking to someone with their pants around their ankles? I've talked to women who say that they've never experienced this in a Ladies Room--but I know that this is a lie!

True thing heard spoken from a guy in a stall: "Of course I'm not in the bathroom! Why would I call you while I was using the bathroom?"

Yeah, this is a lame new trend. I don't think it's weird to the person that is on the other end of the phone, I just think it's rude to other people that are trying to concentrate on the business at hand. Plus it makes you wonder about how unsanitary most cell phones must really be.

Yeah -- everytime someone tells me a story about accidentally dropping their phone into water, I imagine it being a public toilet.
