Deserves its own thread, not least due to its bizarre Wikipedia entry.

I humbly note that one of the many listed villains is:

Skull Ned and the Rock Gang

The full villain list strikes me as the ultimate ILE poll fodder.

The London Bridge Gang

Bet they show Tower Bridge by mistake. Anyway, yes, poll away!

I swear this was shown in the UK, it feels v. familiar.

Oh I'm sure it was, I used to watch it in Portugal so it clearly got some sort of international distribuition. Why wouldn't it? Kids loved them some Police Academy.

I remember it had little "more you know" segments at the end, just like Super Friends and GI Joe.

I am ASTONISHED this was not Hannah-Barberra's doing!

baleen, the krill queen (Abbott), Monday, 29 June 2009 19:39 (sixteen years ago)

The show placed chronologymentully between the fourth and the fifth movie of the film series.

Good to know.

This is another shitty licensed property cartoon where I watched the shit out of it without ever being exposed to the parent material ala Real Ghostbusters, James Bond Jr. and Muppet Babies (!!! although that situation did not last forever I just took a while to get over the fact that the physical/adult Muppets were grotesques compared to their cuddly baby cartoon forms)
