My vote should be obvious.

Silence of the Lambs. HANDS DOWN.

SourPatchCorpse, Saturday, 18 July 2009 05:53 (sixteen years ago)

I have to see Bugsy again.

Eric fucked up: the JFK thread should have been an option.

only seen 2 of those, i assume the most widely seen anyway (Beauty and the Beast and Silence of the Lambs)
i might vote for the first one, recalling the good time when i actually performed as Le Fou in a school musical. hehe. strangely not the Disney songs were used, but old musical songs, with new lyrics. I think i sang a Sound of Music song (

what's Bugsy about?

Have only seen three of these -- Beauty & the Beast, JFK, and Silence of the Lambs -- and I think the right film won that year, although I can be convinced about JFK.

seen silence of the lambs the most. JFK is one of my favourite films for sheer watchability. Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney 2-D animated flick.

Does The Prince of Tides even have camp value?

Is anyone seriously going to vote for JFK? It's just between Beauty and Silence.

Nhex, Saturday, 18 July 2009 19:14 (sixteen years ago)

JFK v Lambs for me, went with Lambs.

Bugsy's good.

Eazy, Saturday, 18 July 2009 19:57 (sixteen years ago)

I'm not seriously voting for JFK. I'm humorously voting for JFK. Silence is unfortunately not quite as funny as JFK.

SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. God, I adore Jonathan Demme.

did i ever tell you you're my gyro? (Tape Store), Saturday, 18 July 2009 20:23 (sixteen years ago)

The Prince of Tides is too boringly middle-class to make it as camp, I suspect.

Hopefully this poll isn't as dead as that crab meat on your plate.

this is one of those years where i'm like "how the fuck did THAT movie win best picture" and then I see the other nominees

Does The Prince of Tides even have camp value?

richard simmons loved it back in the day.

i voted jfk -- never quite got why everyone creamed their pants over silence of the lambs (which i think is a GOOD, but not GREAT, film)

some sick fuck with a bow and arrow killing roos and koalas (Eisbaer), Wednesday, 29 July 2009 05:16 (sixteen years ago)
