I find liquor stores in America very off-putting.

i find them to be like a big open armed embrace, but to each their own.

I think it's against the law to advertise beer and liquor prices in Arkansas. We don't even get the little rebate tags or even free samples on Saturday nights.

Never been a fan of strip lights + industrial carpets in retail wherever, it's just that shopping for booze in Europe does not feel so furtive to me - and you don't have to travel so far to find the off-license.

As a white man, would it be funnier if I went to Chicago Lake Liquor and bought a 40 oz. bottle of malt liquor, or a 12-pack of Tecate? Because, you see, the malt liquor is supposed to be for African-Americans, and the Tecate is supposed to be for Mexicans. And as I said, I'm neither of those "ethnic" groups, I'm of the default white race instead. So either way, it's going to be pretty absurd if I drink one of those drinks, you see. I just can't tell which would be funnier. Though they would both be pretty funny, obviously.

That Office Space clip is great because the punchline isn't "lol white ppl acting like they're not white," it's that he's a spineless IT nerd too embarrassed to "act black" in front of a black guy.

Although, come to think of it, is that guy selling flowers on the median actually black? He looks like he might be, but it's hard to tell because he didn't say "we about to get it crackin tonight, dawg."

i live in ohio so the location of every liquor store is bascially a secret so it's amazing to see ads for them

I think I've been to Chicago Lake Liquors! Somehow I ended up buying some sort of Mexican agave/coconut beverage in addition to our beers because it was so cheap and I was curious. It ended up being about the worst thing I have ever smelled, or drank.

Youtube has seen fit to show me a video titled "Thick Puerto Rican Ass Green Thong" in the Related Videos section, which just makes this even better

Never been to a liquor store with carpeting anywhere.

My parents' liquor store in Hastings has had carpet since he built the building in 1989! It's a nice store. I think the only downside has been the occasion when a drunk guy decided to pee on a display on a Saturday night.
