Excerpt from manual called "We can stop violence":
‘You’re a real idiot, man,’ says Tom‘Who you calling idiot?’ replies Peter ‘You are a bigger idiot. It was Maradonna whokicked that second goal against France.’‘You are the bigger idiot,’ says Tom getting angrier. The word now sounds like ‘eediat’,sounding even more insulting ‘It was Brazil that played France in the finals in 1998,not Argentina.’
This is at the beginning of a page entitled "Who's the Idiot"

Violence...is Expensive!
Violence is very harmful and very expensive inall sorts of ways. Let us look at what happenswhen someone is killed, for example:
• Another human being has been killed. Ifthis happens often enough, largesegments of the population may becomedesensitized. What does desensitizedmean? It means that we can listen tonews about a killing (or see it in real lifeor in movies) and we don’t feel upsetabout it. We can eat an ice-cream conewhen reading about it or even enjoywatching someone being killed in amovie.
Yeah, desensitization is definitely the worst aspect of lots of people being killed.

That's the first thing it listed too!!!

if it gets bad enough we might be able to listen to news about a killing without getting upset

The person may also feel sad because they:
• have to identify the victim’s body• know that the media and society mayblame the victim• are very upset that the person whocommitted the homicide is also a familymember

Here are some ways that both adults and childrenhave described bullying:
• being called names• being hit or attacked• having your bag and other possessionstaken and thrown around
• something to do during recess

Both are idiots, because no-one scored any second goal against France in the 1998 World Cup final. How much violence ensues, and how is it to be resolved?

Avoid ‘Trigger’ Words
There are many statements that ‘trigger’ a personto feel hurt or to respond in similar fashion.Discuss why the following statements are‘triggers’:
• You’re such a loser• I could have married John/Jane instead• I’m just so sick and tired of you• You’re too sensitive• You’re jumping to conclusions• You can’t take a joke• You blow everything out of proportion• You’re making a big deal out of nothing• You don’t have a sense of humour• You take everything the wrong way• You’re making a mountain out of amolehill• You read things into my words• You twist everything around• You’re looking for a quarrel
I’m sure that you’ve heard many more.
