I am in love with him. Why did no one warn me that he existed BEFORE I went to the US Open? Bastards.

Did you enjoy his lovely hat?

Chris, Thursday, 13 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

There was another Swedish guy with him, golfing in the same group, but I didn't understand what his name was. He was pretty kick ass too.

he's got his hot pants on here. http://www.golftime.de/images/folgeseiten/parnevik2.jpg

I think you should look into Craig Stadler.

DUDE, the hot pink makes me love him more. Swedish people: can they possibly be any cooler?

Ally, Thursday, 13 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

You are a fine person.

I love the game (and play it very badly), but surely the idea of one golfer being dressed better than another is akin to one Celine Dion track being more tuneful than another.

BJ, Thursday, 13 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

he does shots of sand.

keith, Thursday, 13 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Theoretically the Celine Dion comparison is true. But Jesper and the other Swedish dude, whose name I have found out it Something-Strange Johannson, they were dressed snappy in comparison to NORMAL PEOPLE, not just golfers, who all look like they stepped out of the clearance section of J. Crew. These are clothes for all, not just for golfers. THAT HAT!!!!

Ally, Thursday, 13 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

The greatest song of all time.

Ally, Thursday, 13 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

if i had only known that hot pink pants and a flippy hat helped to score chicks 5 years ago, life would have turned out different.

other Swedish dude=Per-Ulrik?

lawrence kansas, Friday, 14 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

He lives in a place called Jupiter, strange but appropriate
Eats volcano sand, and vitamins, feels healthy and plays great

catchy!

Tracer Hand, Friday, 14 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I love watching golf on television. From 4 to 6pm every weekend I'll have a drink, some snacks; jealous of their superhuman short games.

I'm going to miss Ken Venturi!

lawrence kansas, Friday, 14 June 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Per-Ulrik, yes. He was pretty hot too, but his clothes weren't quite as amazing as Jesper's.

I think that song is very catchy, Tracer, and when we all have our fantastic band (when we learn instruments etc) we will cover that song, because the chorus is just "Jesper Parnevik" repeated 20 times.
