My dad used to get catalogs of this stuff when I was a kid (lord knows why, since he roofed houses). I loved reading them n car trips. 'A mahogany desk set displaying a brass glof ball on a copper tee with a name plaque....that does sound like a handsome and memorable way to thank an employee, but is it really as good as this crystal sailboat with a personalized name and message in frosted etching? It DOES say it's elegant and treasurable.'
