that is not the crying!!! it is a nose. and if you don't use a nose, you should at least use a space like chupa has done. otherwise, it looks like a frowning toad.

I don't tend to use emoticons at all, but I do like :( precisely becase it looks like a toad, making it a ludicrous symbol of emotion - "I feel like a toad" (yes, I know what it is supposed to mean).
