Okay, so Movielens.org has been recommending that I watch a Finnish film called Katsastus. The internet knows virtually nothing about this film, - IMDB has nothing except enthusiastic reviews saying how it's something everyone in Finland has seen. I know that we've got some Finnish posters on the boards - has anyone heard of this? What's it like - any good? And are there any english subs floating around for it?

I've seen it, years ago. Basically it's a very low-key comedy (sorta like Kaurismäki) about a bunch of tirthysomething working-class guys, who are taking one of the guys' car for a state-regulated inspection ("Katsastus" = "Inspection") across the border to Sweden, because it's cheaper there. It's an examination of a particular type of male psyche, the main characters are small-town "rocker" guys, who have to face growing up even though they're not sure if they want to. It's definitely worth a watch if you manage to find some subtitles.

Oh yeah, and the proper "Hei, me" title would be "Hei, me katsastetaan!" ("Hey, We're Inspecting!")
