I only recognise 4 of those names.

He was quite funny in 30 Rock. I was going to do 'who is the funniest?' but watching 5 minutes of Dunham has made me curmudgeonly.

Ned Trifle II, Sunday, 27 September 2009 23:00 (sixteen years ago)

According to Forbes the bulk of it comes from syndication (Seinfeld's money that is) - so how does that work?

Ned Trifle II, Sunday, 27 September 2009 23:01 (sixteen years ago)

as much as i hate dane cook, this needs to be a landslide victory for dunham

I bet big

unban dance squad (Whiney G. Weingarten), Sunday, 27 September 2009 23:07 (sixteen years ago)

i mean, dane cook is awful, and it's hard to defend dane cook, but being a huge asshole usually allows for some humor either way. for an extended set he really grates & is pretty unbearable, but he has some hilarious bits where the social commentary is pretty spot on. my big problem with him is that he allows for his fans to be really misogynistic & horrible without understanding that dane cook is an y'know a comedian. i feel basically the same way about larry the cable guy.

the ventriloquists are just so plain & horrible & offensive to anyone that has a personality and/or might try and discern what is funny and what isn't funny

truth bomber ginsburg (J0rdan S.), Sunday, 27 September 2009 23:07 (sixteen years ago)

admittedly i have no idea if the other ventriloquist is shittier but even asking that question is kind of like which fire is hotter when you put your hand in it so im going with the one ive inadvertently been exposed to

A DOG, A BARREL... RIDICULOUS! (jjjusten), Sunday, 27 September 2009 23:11 (sixteen years ago)

However much you might dislike Dane Cook, I do not understand how anyone could possibly name him the worst of a list that includes Jeff Dunham and Larry The Cable Guy.

larry the cable guy is the most deplorable in his own way for being such a hackish panderer but he is no ventriloquist

Or what J0rdan said. Although that might be another poll: whose fans are the worst?

I've seen some funny ventriloquist/puppeteer comedians before, BTW.

I HEART CREEPY MENS (Deric W. Haircare), Sunday, 27 September 2009 23:14 (sixteen years ago)

I accidentally saw 5 minutes of a Jeff Dunham 'special' on cable, it was some of most wretched comedy I've ever seen. This poll belongs to him.

WARS OF ARMAGEDDON (Karaoke Version) (Sparkle Motion), Sunday, 27 September 2009 23:15 (sixteen years ago)

I reflex voted for Larry without knowing that we had that ventriloquist guy (and there's another one??) on the list. Sorry Larry.
