They may be a bit tacky to look at, but they really are the perfect size for your lunch or your library books, are easy to carry and sit nicely on the subway floor. I vote classic.

some of my favorite (adorably eccentric) regulsrs carry these. one is a pair of men, one maybe 40 the other about ten-fifteen yaers older. the older man is a bit stocky & has thinning gray ahir almost down to his shoulders. the young is conservatively dressed & a bit portly. lots of "oh my gawd" at things from the 50c bins--beat up ahmad jamal lps, sound of music original cast recording (6-eye eolumbia label) etc.
