Anyone ever get busted for possession of mushrooms? A friend of mine just got nailed in Kentucky for a few grams. It's a Class A Misdemeanour there - so as far as I can see on the web the penalty is a fine and/or up to a year in jail on for a first offense. Just wondering if anyone here ever had to deal with this or if you know what kind of sentences are typically handed out for this kind of thing.

if it's his first offense on a misdemeanor i'd imagine that he'll get some sort of fine, maybe community service and/or some sort of probation

A real punishment would be to make him eat all of them before the trial, and then to extend the trial as long as possible...

Just heard from a friend of a friend... lawyer says it looks like it will be a fine. Poor dude is stuck in a shitty motel in the middle of nowhere awaiting arraignment. With no mushrooms.

Selling shrooms was a bad idea, selling it to a cop was a worse one.

So the OP never commented, but the press release issued today mentions that it was shrooms, but it was only their tour manager that was arrested. Hmmm.
