Writing when hungover ? C or D

For me, dud.

I honestly have no clue how writers could do quality work when hungover. I can never write well in that mode because my brain feels like mush.
I feel like my best work comes from a good nights rest and strong coffee in the morning, perhaps a good fuck.
Alcohol does inspire me in experience-terms, but not in the actual process of writing itself.
I have a suspicion that the "writing drunk, or all writers are drunks" meme, for most of history is an overblown myth...

I know many people on ILX are writers to some degree or other...
What do you guys say ?

dud. it's why writers do what they can to stay drunk. high-functioning addicts.
