I WAS BITTEN

This show, on the Discovery Channel, presents people narrating stories of getting bitten by animals. As, for example, by elephants, and tigers. Do you want to hear about a guy getting his intestines squashed out by four rampaging elephants? Do you want to hear about it from the guy himself? Of course you do. And now you can.

This sounds kind of like that time that I turned on Discovery and learned there was a show called ANIMAL FACEOFF. What a great channel

My mom's dog bit a piece off my lip. It dangled off the rest of my lip. Stupid of course but my parents said to put it under cold running water. It was literally hanging by a "thread" (of flesh). lol. The plastic surgeon stitched it back. It looks better than before. But god was I in shock.

When she stitched me up, the trainee surgeon said that she wasn't sure it'd survive. I'd know by the next morning when looking at the colour. If it was black (cue Fast Show sketch lol) I knew it was dead. I can laugh now, but when I woke up the next morning with my mom standing at my bedside, I started crying. It survived. Funninly enough it looked like nothing happened. I kept waiting for people to say: OMG WHAT HAPPENED??? But noone asked cause it looked like... just some black thread hanging from my lip.

BTW we kept the dog. I could decide. But it was my fault so I said he could stay. Awesome dog. Basiel was just such a great basset. RIP.

i watched roeg's walkabout recently and i was amazed how these middle-class urban children could get through being lost in the desert without once being attacked by snakes, scorpions, evil-looking insects. ahh white privilege.
