He opened the back door and it ran in and jumped in the tree and now it wont get out. He put his cat under the tree to try and scare it off but the cat ran away. Chris is a policeman.

I fucking love Chris but he's a disaster area. In August he had his ankle shattered (not broken, shattered) playing 5-a-side for the police, and while he was on the floor waiting for the paramedics, a bird shat on his head. Or a bee stung him on the face. One or the other. I forget.

On his first outing in a police van to an incident, he got the passenger seat, and was, understandably, a little full of adrenaline. When they arrived at the scene, he threw the door open and leapt out of the van - only he'd not undone his seatbelt, and consequently nearly pulled his shoulder out of joint.

Once, when he was younger (but still, like, 21 or something), his mum and dad went away and left him at home with the cat to look after. It was the first time he'd been given proper responsibility for another living thing. Predictably, the cat got a touch ill, and was being sick. So Chris looked in the medicine cabinet to see if they had anything that might ease its tummy. And he gave it some Calpol. And shortly afterwards had to take it to the vet.
