Enjoyed the Gabriel Orozco at MoMA quite a bit, and didn't think we had a thread exactly of this sort. Post whenever you see something you want to discuss, recommend, or steer people away from - small galleries, large museums, etc.

fwiw almost none of the material was recent, so if you're already super-familiar with his work it might be unexciting.

The other day I had to go to the design store to get a christmas present so i wandered around the museum for a little bit and stumbled into that Orozco piece with the animation printed all over the walls. it completely blew me away. i need to check out more of his stuff.

The Samurai Tree thingy?
I relatively liked that - it sort of reminded me of those visual sequencing IQ tests. I liked a lot of things better, like the whale skeleton and the bicycle scultpure (of which I can't find a picture).

I've liked basically everything I've seen recently--Bauhaus, Kandinsky, O'Keefe. It's been a good season for art.

So what else is good right now? Have a friend coming to stay (one with some art knowledge/interest).
I'm thinking about Omer Fast at the Whitney. Not sure what's in the galleries right now.
