Hay I'm new hear!!!!!!!!

Just want to introduce myself with self-deprecating typos as is the custom... Now that I've done that, let me tell you a little about myself. I am a married feller of 35 living in NY, bored and got no real ideas what to do with my life except to read stuff I seem to be interested in for whatever reason. I only buy $15 worth of music per month anymore thanks to Emusic and realization that it is all so worthless in the end. I like Tibetan Buddhism and getting drunk. I would get high if I had a connection, but I do not. I'm a designer and illustrator and want more than anything to fire two braincells together long enough to write a children's story along the lines of A Wrinkle In Time. I like mostly psychedelic music and I have done a lot of drugs in the ancient past, but have no interest in drugs anymore except pot occasionally. Like I said, I need a connection, so get to know me and meet a new custie! ;) I don't care about being very hip or up on stuff, so I won't care or argue much about anything like that. Sad Conan is getting fucked. What else? I like taking pictures and might start a few blogs soon or a Flickr account. I guess I love any Showtime series because I seem to love them all: Weeds, US of Tara, DEXTER!!!!, Tudors, the one about the gym coach gigolo... oh, right, I just remembered Diary of A Callgirl is one that I can't stand. I like Big Love, too, but I am cheap and only either have HBO or Showtime at any given moment. I enjoy chick flicks, cats, dogs and long walks in the park.

not a sock puppet. brand new poster. Only viewed this site for a few weeks, so sorry if I'm not super awesome. Maybe I never will be. I'm just a person.

So, if I post too much, I'm a sock. If I don't post enough, nobody will know I exist. What am I supposed to do, exactly? I've done what I thought was customary and polite by introducing myself... any NYers want to meet for a drink? I guarantee you've never seen me before and that I will not have a sock on my head, either. Kinda the whole point of me signing up was to meet some of you. I haven't really been keeping track of names, but seems like good people here.

What's FAP?
