OK so this coupon book comes in with the junk mail from Target. Full of coupons - save a dollar, save fifty cents, etc. But here's the thing: none of them are for a specific product. They're all for generic item: "50 cents off any brand 12-pk soda or multipack water." "75 cents off any brand razor replacement cartridges." And I mean, I get the marketing idea - bring you in, you'll spend money at Target, they'll cut their profit a little on these items to get you in - but it seems so end-of-the-world for some reason you know. Like advertisements not for the Wii or Playstation or Xbox but just BUY A VIDEO GAME SYSTEM

I'm not wrapping my head around this -- who would the retailer send these to for reimbursement? Will keep my eye out for these things, though I'm probably not in a big enough market.

we got one of these the other day. weirdest part was that it was left HANGING ON THE APARTMENT DOOR, not as part of the mail, which meant target is/was paying someone/someones to drive around and leave them at people's homes. which...sorta seems to defeat many purposes.

ah, only good at Target. I should get a reading comprehension.

J0hn, are all the discounts that minimal? I mean, 50 cents off a 12pk of soda is NOTHING, nor is 75 cents off razor cartridges.
