Born in Rochford,Essex.Yes,I'm an Essex boy,and still am.I live 4 miles from where I was born.

Favorite form of transport?Has to be one of my cars.I collect old Fords,I think if I had to pick one over the others,it would have to be my Mk2 Escort RS2000.I built and modified it myself, and I love it as if it were my own offspring!Unfortunately, time and money mean it's not on the road at the moment,so I have to resort to a Fiat.Trains are cool too,but only if you get to drive.

Tea or coffee?Tea,by a long shot.I have about 20 kinds of tea in my kitchen,I adore fruit teas and iced tea, coffee just doesn't appeal to me at all.My mother used to drink vast amounts of black coffee when I was younger,I remember making cup after cup of the stuff for her,and I suppose that's put me off it!

From my nearest window,I can see the terracce of houses opposite my flat. There are two elm trees which the council cut back about two weeks ago,so now they just look like tall stumps.I can see my hilarious Fiat Panda4x4,which is in need of a good wash, and I can also see one of the three tower blocks at the end of my road.I'm moving to a new place in a week, and my new view will be of Roots Hall, home ground of Southend United Football Club. And I really don't like football!

Does Dairylea count as cheese? It's not proper cheese,so I'll have to say Applewood smoked Cheddar is the don daddy of cheese. And Philadelphia cream cheese (with chives preferably),spread in a warm pitta is a favorite of mine at the moment.

Favorite day of the week would have to be Friday. It's always been that little bit special, probably because I have never been one for working weekends! All my best nights out have been on Fridays.I was a club DJ for 4 years, and Friday nights were always the busiest and most fun nights.I probably get it from my father, who at the age of 58,still goes out to the clubs every Friday night, and it is hard work keeping up with him.A lot of people probably think that is really sad and he should act his age!But as an ex-doorman and ex-publican round here,he gets into all the bars and clubs for free,so I guess he's making the most of it!He is 100% a Friday man,so it must be something in the genes.

1. Where were you born?
Hammersmith Hospital, West London.

2. Favourite form of transport?
Ideally, on the enormous, well appointed motor boat of a rich friend, but otherwise in my old Citroen AX GT (RIP) or on a quiet (overground) train going somewhere exciting.

3. Tea or Coffee?
White coffee, not too strong. Ideally a mocha with hazelnut syrup in it. Mmm yeah.

4. What can you see from your nearest window?
Simon Le Bon's garden!

5. Favourite cheese?
Has to be parmesan as I eat it at least 7 times a week. I love pepper jack too, and taleggio, and gorgonzola, and stilton, and emmenthal.

6. Favourite day of the week?
Saturday, because you can do anything, though as someone who likes anticipating things, Friday is a very close second.
