How do I post a picture into a thread here?

I see that some of you add pics to the threads, and was wondering how to do that.

Can anyone solve the mystery for me? I've got a couple of amusing snaps I fancied sharing...............

If you do image google and then click to make the image bigger, you get that split screen . There you click on the image again , and cut and paste, you should find the image file name.

must have quotes:

but remove the space after the <

Yes, copy and paste the code of the previous post specifying the right emplacement of the picture and it should do it.
If you want to post some tests you can go to the html test forum

I think you have to add http://www. because otherwise it'll assume it's from the greenspun server

forgot to mention you need to have those brackets at the start and at the end of your post:

the text and the code for the image goes between them

well, that doesn't help, but bbcode uses square brackets, unlike html (unlike it in other ways too). look at the link at the bottom of a thread for help.
