tried it, found out one person was following me already, made to make a 'wtf' post but it wanted a profile. turned off.

i swear i clicked to go to inbox, not get buzz, but somehow i got it anyway. i turned it off.

I left it on. I don't have a good reason why. I even uploaded a photo.

I dont use twitter so i dont see why i'd use this, that said I've played around with it at least. wil prob turn it off soon tho.

Trayce, they may not have *actually* followed you! I think whenever you log in to gmail it automatically has you following ppl!

yeh I know, i had six followers automagically but i "unfollowed" most of them and a few have reappeared and some extra ones have too. *shrug* :)

Just because you unfollow them does not mean they unfollow you; you'd have to block or something?

On mine it was a tiny link at the bottom of the page - not the buzz page, but the mail inbox. Creeeeepy!

I've been msging Adam with this thing and he's getting more apopleptic with rage at how stupid it is by the second.

Not only does buzz have its own little "folder" in gmail - which is fine, you get (1) or whatedver in brackets when someone posts something, great! - but then once the thread starts you get notified in the buzz folder... AND IN YOUR INBOX AS WELL.

Signed into my mail this morning, got a splash screen that read "Oh wow, you can get Google BUZZ! You want it right?" I clicked "No thanks" or whatever the link was.
And uhm, I was greeted with a big Buzz button right below my inbox? So basically they activate it no matter what? What on earth was the point of the splash then?

It doesnt remove it, it just switches it off, same as chat (afaik).

I've turned it off even though I don't really know what it does.

I'm annoyed it's presumed my ex wants to follow me.

It just adds anyone who you emailed a lot on yr gmail account I think. Which is why I have some ppl "following" me who I know would never actually have done so voluntarily.

I have no idea what this is but I've just turned it off without even looking at it anyway.

Just a reminder again that "turning it off" just stops it loading on yr gmail page - it doesnt delete your appearance on buzz to other ppl unless you go unfollow and block them first, as far as I can tell.

I'm not fussed - I dont have a surname let alone real name on my account and I dont have a profile.
