Alternatively, bitch about him now he's gone.

There'll be an MD - 74 minutes of the saddest Belgian hardcore I can find - winging its way to Glasgow in the next week...

Is he training to be a snooker referee?
i feel much worse about him leaving than i thought i would. i have a full pack of fruittellas on my desk and no one is robbing them. no spinach and nut quiche will fill the air this lunchtime with its rancid stench. there is now not a single person in the library who knows how to use the microfilm machine properly. *sigh*
i am busying myself cutting out pictures of big brother's alex in a plastic union jack thong to send to him. must have the honour of being the sender of his first glasgopost.
i think he's made the right decision but i still can't help selfishly wanting him to stay. i have a funny feeling that he won't be coming back to london for anything more than a holiday.

My beard is better anyway.
― Pete, Tuesday, 2 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
I think that too.
I am saddened that last week I forgot to pull his face in a pub, and now will probably never get the chance.

But in his honor anyway, I won't say anything even slightly mean about him today.

No, Nickie, I know what you look like & it was some young guy who was stroking his arm & back directly after his tearful speech. You must have been beaten in the rush.
N. has been in Glasgow for a matter or hours and I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN HIM YET. OH NOOO! I'm still not quite sure why he's here. He seems so cosmically connected with London.
But, this SPEECH! SOMEONE MUST HAVE A TRANSCRIPT! PLEASE!

Seriously though, good trip Nick?
(Jonnie, take note, your attendance is requested)

There's a band name for ya, Dan.
Hope yer settled into Glasgow reasonably swiftly, N. No throwing yourself into the Clyde in despair without telling us first.
― Ned Raggett, Wednesday, 3 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
Yes, tell us about it first so we can all savor the good news.
Hey, I just said I wouldn't say mean things about N. yesterday. I said nothing about today.
