What would you like to be remembered for. What will you be remembered for? Do they always say nice things in obiutuaries - or refer to being sacked and mid-career doldrums as "some controversy"?

i decided my epitaph should be "at least he could see the funny side".

Once I stumbled across this book in the library called Dead Ned. The brief poem used as the opening part seems to be as good as anything:

And since it is Ned
Who was alive and is now dead
There's no more to be said
