Stupid song titles

Even I know that Panama is not in LA! Neither is Cabo San Lucas, as extravagantly praised in the Van Hagar song "Cabo Wabo," one of the most stupid songtitles ever thought of.

I smelt a fresh thread straight away!

As a title Cabo Wabo is almost as silly as Sweet's 'Love Is Like Oxygen' from circa 1978. Around the same time Andy Gibb had 'Love Is Thicker Than Water'. Chemically speaking, at least one of them is wrong.

What other songs have really ridiculous monickers?

I'd say that 'De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da' is a strong contender. And the fact that it was written by a man named Bernard earns it extra Stupid points.

I always thought De Do Do Do (etc) was one of Gordie-poo's own efforts.

Along similar lines (doubtless someone will make any necessary correction): Da Da Da I Don't Love You You Don't Love Me A-Ha A-Ha by a three piece (OK I'm guessing) combo called Trio back in the early 80s.
