My gurlfrend was all stressy after teaching orrible kids and she asked me for a rub.

I stroked her hair, looked her in the eye and said "Okay, you're rub.".

It's still making me giggle.

I blamed ILE.

I bet it's not making her giggle. I bet she's thinking "MENTALIST!"

MarkH, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

what MarkH said and also boys who don't give their other halves soothing massages are SATAN!

katie, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

what all of them? Are you sure they're not just his little wizards?

MarkH, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

It's very dangerous to give massages if you are not a fully qualified massagist.

jel --, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

How dangerous?

Tim, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

little wizards possibly. minions of the Dark One certainly! i agree jel that it's prolly dangerous to try and give a "proper" massage but a bit of rub surely cannot hurt? or using one of those wooden things... oh i love having my back rubbed and want it NOW!

katie, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

tim i think going near the spine/putting too much pressure on certian nerve points wouldn't be a good idea if you weren't trained. i know that on the rare occasions when aubrey isn't being a wizard i won't let him go near the spine...

one of those wooden things, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

note pixy dust

mark s, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Creaky, these massages must be pretty, uh, forthright to be that dangerous. Any other forms of physical contact I should be avoiding for fear of dangerously touching certain nerve points?

I should point out that I know nothing of massage and little of physiology but I tend to take the position that human bodies are fairly robust...

Tim, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Mark that is a TRUNCHEON.

I can see how a 'massage' using one of those might be dangerous.

"I like it when you treat me like pastry"

backs are v sensitive tim. mine is anyhow - and i know first hand how manipulation of certain nerve centres and pressure points can break or fix me cos of the chiropractor. i'm not saying it'll kill you, i'm just saying there could be damage/discomfort!

katie, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

chiropacters are frauds.

anthony, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

some of them probably are, but my one DEFINITELY knew what she was doing and i felt a lot better after seeing her. unfortunately she's moved, my back probs have slowly but surely returned, and i don't really have enough cash to start seeing another one. bugger.

katie, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

maybe mine was but i went fot 8 months and my back never improved.

anthony, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I did actually give her a proper rub after I'd got over my initial mirth. I'm not all bad.

I don't think it was a dangerous massage but I can't be sure. I certainly didn't use one of those bludgeon things.

misterjones, Friday, 5 July 2002 00:00 (twenty-three years ago)
