Hangovers: C or D?

Ugh, yesterday I walked around in a tequila induced haze from Wednesday night. The obvious answer is a dud. For some reason I always want some greasy food when I'm hungover.

The last one lasted a FOOL 24 hours. I remained in bed wondering what I had done. Then my cousin told me. I wish I hadn't asked.

oops, those are the worst.

... and I only had four glasses of rhum (as far as I remember hah!).

I haven't had a proper hangover for ages -- it's like an old friend that I don't see anymore, given there was a point when I could count on at least a day in bed every week as a result of our friend Al Cohol.

NB this is partly due to not drinking so much -- I do not advise this -- and partly due to not drinking lager any more -- worth a try if hangovers are doing you wrong.

Actually last big hangover was at All Tomorrow's Parties, and it was a doozy, if that's the word I'm thinking of.

Your old friend has clearly moved to London, Alex, because (s)he seems to be in my house every morning at the moment. Ruin.

Hangovers as an excuse to eat a greasy nasty Southern breakfast are CLASSIC. Biscuits and sausage gravy and cheesy grits and bacon... mmm...

I thought I had a really, really bad hangover yesterday (remind me never to decide that the "Hoxton Tea Party" is a really good way to celebrate the 4th of July...) but when it still hadn't gone away by the evening, my housemate convinced me that it wasn't a hangover at all but the REALLY NASTY FLU WHICH IS GOING AROUND.

An explanation I liked a lot better.

Everyone knows that the best cure for a hangover is to get up and drink some more. Failing that, Irn Bru and salt & vinnegar crisps will sort you out.

so i was thinking, haven't we done this before (we haven't (well, not exactly anyway)), so i went to have a look on the search thing and on the sponsored link at the top there was this!! do you think we'd get a discount if we buy in bulk for ILX?

I've started getting hangovers a bit more these days. Carlsberg Export that you guys in the United Kingdom get gave me a few nasty hangovers. I find now anything above 3 or 4 pints and I'll have a bad hangover.

Will that hangover cure make me see sparkly blue and green snowflakes like those party people are seeing? I think those would be infinitely preferable to the pink elephants I am usually afflicted with...
