As prompted by a Twitter post from Rhodri M.:
Restaurant websites drive me up the wall. They should be forced by law to excise all music, animation and general poncing about.

fine, I'll do it:
For added lulz, check out their website, with their employment application consisting of a link to a generic .pdf residing on the servers at the Alaska Department of Labor and Workplace Development.

xp Their website is kind of sad/funny in a number of ways. There are stock photos of food that don't appear to be on the menu (antipasto plate? waffles?) It says that Fat Tire beer is from Belgium and that the bar's hours are 4 AM to 1 PM. "Wine" is misspelled as "whine" (and I don't think it's deliberate, like at Glenn's Diner). The "more" links on the food menu and wine list don't work.

Check the prices, £4 - over US$6 - for a tiny slice of lemon meringue pie. Eating out at one of the major chains in the UK is not only disappointing, it's expensive.

I can live with a little cheery amateurishness cz my favourite restaurant ever is a weekends-only thing by a super-nice couple of artists in my home village and obviously they are not also webdesigners - ok, their website looks like it is from 1996 and has Comic Sans on, but they are good people and it has all the useful information on
but opening a webpage and hearing a midi string quartet start up is pretty unforgivable, as is having yr opening hours wrong or not listing any useful contact details, and if you have paid for professional webdesign then I want to see some menus, not a memory-sucking Flash gallery scrolling through shots of the chandelier in yr dining area
and if you link to a google map of your postcode, please check it actually has mapped your postcode to somewhere approximately near your restaurant, thanks

There's a local Nepalese restaurant which has registered 3 domain names, made 2 of them say "under construction", and put some useful info on the 3rd. Which isn't linked to from the first 2, and is considerably lower down on Google. Hi guys, if someone finds a website for you and it has nothing at all on it, they're not going to think "hm, maybe there's another one"!
