Michael Keaton dropping TLC references was the best part of this movie.

movie was way way better than I expected. Will Ferrell is at his funniest when he plays mild-mannered prudes. not to say he didn't go OTT in this one, but he didn't spend the entire movie there, and when he got there, it was funny.

This film is hilarious pretty much from start to finish.

Yeah loved the shit out of it. And that's even though my enjoyment was wrecked by the idiot behind me who spent the whole movie sleeping and snoring! I tried to wake him up like 5 times and the guy just kept on snoring. At one point, I think all the people in the theater were turned towards me trying to wake up the damn dude rather than towards the film... why the fuck would you go and see a movie and spend 10 bucks if its to sleep and annoy everybody?

i feel like i could write an undergrad thesis paper on the feminist filmmaking of adam mckay, and it wouldn't necessarily make any sense but it would be written

my bisexual college student brother said our parents lol'd really loudly at michael keaton talking about how his son was exploring his bisexuality at college, but probably they were just really excited to see michael keaton back on film. like mother and father, like daughter!!!

That one scene with Samuel Jackson and The Rock (you know which one I mean) is the funniest thing I saw in the year 2010. Rest of the movie is pretty good, too.

this was great! a couple of bum scenes (Eva Mendes ugh) notwithstanding. great cast.

i feel like this didn't totally sink in the one time i watched it and i'll have to let it grow on me once they start running it on cable all the time. the deleted scenes of Michael Keaton riffing are awesome though.

she's a terrible actress. everything I've seen her in is made worse by her presence. her one scene with Ferrell where he flahbacks to being a pimp (which was funny by itself) and have a fight was just awful.

the scene where they talk about 'you've got mail' was funnie... don't really rate ferrell alongside the great thespians tbh!

Ferrell's not a great actor, but he is funny. Eve Mendes is not funny, nor is she a good actress.

EM is kind of a weird non-entity, like she's really famous but she's barely been in any notable movies and tends not to be at all memorable in them

i approve of eva mendes being in any movie i want to see but don't want to take seriously
