Pub Quiz 2: This time it's...

The music quiz I did the other day seemed to be appreciated by several people so I thought I'd do another tomorrow. I have questions sitting around on Books, TV (and radio a bit), Art (and architecture a bit), Movies and Comics. I have not decided which subject to run with, except the comics one might prove too tough for most.

IF I run one tomorrow I will start it sometime in the late afternoon to try to suit lots of people. To convince me, please register your interest here, and influence my choice of subject by telling me which you would or wouldn't fancy.

Questions (and answers) about Freud and his alleged cocaine addiction. On top of that anything about Post Modernism, Pop and Japanese culture interest me as well. I also fancy a cuba libre. :-)

I would like questions about the life and loves of C J, please.

Failing that: literature, geography, general knowledge ...... but I'll have a bash at anything really. Apart from comics, about which I know zip.

I'll be around tomorrow afternoon - would you be kind enough to email me to let me know when it's due to start? I'll be logged in, but not necessarily looking at ILE all afternoon, and I'd hate to miss all the fun!!

Preffered topics: the scripts of Father Ted, the Bolivian campaigns of Che Guervara, World Wrestling Federation 1997-2000, the life and times of Courtney Love.

There's nothing "alleged" about Freud's cocaine addiction. What is iffy is whether he actually gave it up when he said he did or not.

I want psychoanalysis. BRING OUT THE SNORT PUFF POWDAH!

I think that given just one expression of any interest at all, this isn't worth doing. I might ask again in the week, because the last one went well on a weekday evening, so perhaps there will be enough interest then.

I could have been the clear winner there, what with having no opposition to contend with. Oh well. Better luck next time.

I think you're right about a week night being better, Martin - weekends are often quiet on MBs.

It would be good to have another quiz evening though - so I hope you *will* organise one. The last one was great fun.

Yes, I am certainly interested! Subjects? Anything within music, modern and historical literature, destruction of the mind....kidding about that last one;>
