yesterday at work (as a stationer) i got to meet five golden retrievers and two weimaraners. best golden retrievers were these humongous 110 lb + super-stocky nearly great-dane sized two year old twins named 'tomato' and 'bumpkin' that i spent ten minutes shirking work to cuddle.

this morning i was at a house in the country and i saw an old brown dog lumber past a deadly brown snake without a flicker of anything and then the snake slunk away looking fretful, that dog was top notch.
