So i never really did chores as a kid but now that i am an adult i find myself really enjoying cooking, bakign, sweeping, waiting for the mail banking . I never vacuum and have to fit things around work and school but how about you what chores do you like to do, dislike doing.

last night i did the washing dishes for the first time in ages, and actually found it quite soothing. i enjoy cooking, but i haven't ironed since 1995 when i worked out that over a decade, an entire two weeks 24/7 would be spent even if you only ironed 5-10 minutes a day - just didn't seem worth it compared to drinking coffee.

i only like doing my washing because i love my clothes so much. occasionally i enjoy doing the dishes but only if there is music going, and my flatmates arn't home to hear me singing raucously along. mostly i'm really lazy and don't do anything.

I used to be OK about household chores but since psycho OCD cleaning man moved in with us I am repulsed by them. I mean, he hoovers at 9:30 on a Saturday morning and washes up plates that I have got out to put my dinner on before I have used them. I think I have hoovered about twice in the eighteen months we have been living in our flat. I cannot be bothered to do cooking when it's just for me. I am the Anti Domestic Goddess.

Like: Doing laundry because I like my clothes, using Grab It cloths with orange oil (they smell great) to dust, washing the floors with Ecover liquid soap, it also smells good. Cooking, especially if I'm putting some of it up in the freezer to have on hand for later on. I like having a plan and going for my messages around the neighborhood.

Dislike: the cat litter box.

I cleared a blocked u-bend with my arm the other day. It was really really really easy, and this is the first time I've thought about it since.

I hate chores. I clean allot but I hate it. Blech. I wish I had a self cleanign house. Or more cats with fuzzy tails

Surely more cats w/fuzzy tails = more cat hair mess = more cleaning?

I hate chores like nothing else, but I have to do them because if I don't who will? Certainly none of my houseguests, they all suck. Though Ramon and/or Otis attempting to wash the dishes is always good. "Um, what do you wash them with? I don't get it". Uh, try the dish soap sitting RIGHT THERE.

Hoovering is good for the soul! All other domestic chores are hell.

Cooking is great, everything else is less than fun. So my room currently looks like Satan shat in it and my sink's full of washing up. Amos (flatmate) really likes hoovering, so at least the living room carpet's always clean.
