This is the thread where we bitch about our well-meaning but stupid and annoying co-workers

I've been woerking alongside this woman for over five years now - you'd think that by now she'd have realized that, at least once per week, I'm guaranteed to take a drink of coffee, swallow it the wrong way, and erupt in a coughing fit. And that there's no need, really, to ask "Are you all right?" every time, forcing me to make the effort to croak out "Fine [choke], thanks [gasp]", thinking that I WILL be fine in two minutes, as long as I'm not forced to speak or reply to an inane question. And thanks for calling everyone's attention, as if I'm not already humiliated enough...
