Poll assumes that no Tories will try to oust DaveCam.

CAROLINE GREEN PARTY

Mansun was where I fucked up (acoleuthic), Friday, 7 May 2010 11:30 (fifteen years ago)

I remember all my life
Rainin' down as cold as ice
Shadows of a man
A face through a window
Cryin' in the night
The night goes into

Mornin', just another day
Happy people pass my way
Lookin' in their eyes
I see a memory
I never realized
How happy you made me, oh Mandy

Well, you came and you gave without takin'
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
well, you kissed me and stopped me from shakin'
and I need you today. Oh, Mandy!

I'm standing on the edge of time
I've walked away when love was mine
Caught up in a world of uphill climbin'
The tears are in my mind
And nothin' is rhyming, oh Mandy

Well, you came and you gave without takin'
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
well, you kissed me and stopped me from shakin'
And I need you today, oh Mandy

Yesterday's a dream
I face the mornin'
Cryin' on a breeze
The pain is callin', oh Mandy

Well, you came and you gave without takin'
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
Well, you kissed me and stopped me from shakin'
And I need you today, oh Mandy

You came and you gave without takin'
But I sent you away, oh Mandy
You kissed me and stopped me from shakin'
And I need you!

Delia & Daphne & Celeste (Masonic Boom), Friday, 7 May 2010 11:34 (fifteen years ago)

Jeremy Clarkson, probably.

Chris de Burgin' (King Boy Pato), Friday, 7 May 2010 11:35 (fifteen years ago)

xp Where did your long hair go
Where is the girl I used to know
How could you lose that happy glow
Oh, Caroline no

Who took that look away
I remember how you used to say
You`d never change, but that`s not true
Oh, Caroline you

Break my heart
I want to go and cry
It`s so sad to watch a sweet thing die
Oh, Caroline why

Could I ever find in you again
Things that made me love you so much then
Could we ever bring `em back once they have gone
Oh, Caroline no

tomofthenest, Friday, 7 May 2010 11:36 (fifteen years ago)

Whoever wins, it's always Jeremy Clarkson.

Can it be any labour other than Brown? I can't remember how their leadership thingy works.

Best guess: Cameron at head of minority govt, may well be Miliband in six months' time.

Ismael Klata, Friday, 7 May 2010 11:53 (fifteen years ago)

Cameron minority govt I suppose. Hoping that mad Tory infighting shit kicks off asap; maybe also that Lab make themselves look plausible in short order. Possibility of sprawling lab/lib/grn/multi-celt coalition is appealing, but couldn't face that falling apart, & tory shit-shower getting a working majority.

It's going to be Cameron. And it'll be HILARIOUS!

Ned Trifle II, Friday, 7 May 2010 12:10 (fifteen years ago)

I heard this was the social networking election so I asked Facebook and it told me Charlie Brooker should be prime minister

"Good luck UK" it added

I do like the stern briskness of this poll's finishing date/time btw

technical point, brown can't be next as he hasn't stopped being PM

American Fear of Pranksterism (Ed), Friday, 7 May 2010 12:22 (fifteen years ago)

Try phrasing an elegant question that takes that into account!

Surfing At Work, Friday, 7 May 2010 12:26 (fifteen years ago)

300+ seats says DC minority with Unionists propping him up. I think running with a minority (and keeping his own party in check) for 6-8 months will be enough to see Labs & Libs tear themselves apart then he'll call another election next spring and win an outright majority.

Then we can all forget about voting reform for another 5 years.

wouldn't bet on the Tories not tearing themselves apart, they are the experts

Yeah, realised that after I posted it, but I think you know what I meant,

State Attorney Foxhart Cubycheck (Billy Dods), Friday, 7 May 2010 12:40 (fifteen years ago)

I think he'll only need to hold them together for a few weeks before this strategy starts working. Assuming Brown can't get enough backers to reach 326 he'll find himself in opposition and there'll be a fairly swift decapitation.

Simply refusing to do a deal with Clegg takes away any power Clegg thinks he has and turns Lib Dem attention onto the fact that they've *lost* ground in this landmark everything changes no more little guy election.

Yeah, they hate Cameron - already many articles blaming the result on listening to the Letwin nicey-nice wing. Quite which groups a Tebbit approach was going to pull in instead is never clear.

Ismael Klata, Friday, 7 May 2010 12:41 (fifteen years ago)

all hinges on how labour goes about getting a new leader

really wish the appalling ed balls had lost; he will lead them to total collapse should he get in

Greatest contributor: (history mayne), Friday, 7 May 2010 12:42 (fifteen years ago)

his hardman schtick on the announcement podium was nauseating

Mansun was where I fucked up (acoleuthic), Friday, 7 May 2010 12:50 (fifteen years ago)

I like Ed Balls, because Tories hate him.

The New Dirty Vicar, Friday, 7 May 2010 15:54 (fifteen years ago)

I like the Speaker OTHOC for the same reason.
