They were all born May 6; arguably a) the greatest mind of the 20th century, b) the greatest film director of the 20th century, and c) the greatest baseball player of the 20th century. I'm not sure what the question is..."Who's your favourite?" is too vague--maybe more like, "If you had three brilliant biographies sitting in front of you, which one would you be more inclined to read?"

Every day, I do a "Today in History" thing with my grade 6 class, and I always clear at least half-an-hour on May 6. They were extremely interested in all three on Thursday--there was even some scattered applause after the first eight minutes of Citizen Kane (I played it up till the shot of Kane and Hitler on the balcony). They were begging me to tell them who Rosebud was. Me: "No--one day you'll watch it, and you'll thank me." Mark (his last day before going back to Keyna): "What if some of us are never going to watch it--will you tell us?"

Kenya; Keyna is a tiny island off the coast of Russia.

I'm changing my display name to "Finger on the Zeitgeist"--my polls just seem to zero in on what people are thinking about...Has anyone ever publicly grovelled for votes on here?
