TS: Rev. Jim Jones vs. John Africa (or, they were probably too fat to run from eating cheesesteaks all day)

Before 9/11 I believe the first air strike on a large American city was in Philadelphia, ordered by their own mayor in order to take out an apartment block housing a radical separatist organisation called MOVE who were famous for all changing their names to 'Africa' and perhaps expanding the field of urban agronomy (compost-spreading division) too fast for the city's liking. Apparently this incident not only prompted erstwhile 'Delphian semiotician Sun Ra to comment "This proves Goode = bad" but the explosive rumblings inspired a young Tom Keifer to write "Shake Me" which, when performed with his band Cinderella, ensured that the proud Philadelphia rock tradition would limp into the 90s with the requisite one famous artist every 15 years or so
