Superman in the '90s

Do you reckon The Kids read Superman comics in the 1990s thinking "wow, Superman is brilliant" or was it only oldarses who read the comics with a jaded feeling of their not being as good as they used to be?

I don't know, vicar. I see quite a few Superman t-shirts when I'm out and about on my rounds, but I just assume it's some kind of drugs code.

The Kids in the 90s were only briefly interested in Superman, when he got killed.

There are kids that liek all the "bog" comics, who read SPiderman, batman, Hulk, JLA, X-men, and Superman, just so they can "know whats going on". But the casual '90's comics reader blows off superman.

But the art has gotten better, so maybe that has changed.

I adored Superman in fifth grade, for precisely that one year, no more. Great but not great enough to bother with.

I liked The New Adventures Of Superman.

I hated the super adventures of new man.

just watched that documentary on the making of the Nicholas Cage Superman. it was really pretty good. there was a ton of concept art, and hearing Tim Burton's take on it was pretty interesting. could've been amazing.

also, apparently Sammy Davis Jr. was Burton's first choice to play Beetlejuice!
