To clarify, I don't mean at home while watching a DVD, or movies you fell asleep on because of some other mitigating factor (fatigue, etc.). What movies have you fell asleep on in the theatre simply because they were so boring or overcomplicated or just uninteresting?
My list includes...
Mortal KombatSkeleton KeyLady in the WaterTransformers

If I drink before going to the movies, I'll fall asleep through anything (no problem drinking while watching it though).

Me too. Now that I think about it I also fell asleep on Walk Hard, but that was mostly because I had a lot of wine beforehand.
I haven't fallen asleep on a movie in ages because now I make sure to buy a large soda and a popcorn or something, which forces me to stay awake. but for a while there I was napping frequently in the theatres.

Fell asleep on the Simpsons movie too, for the same reason.
However, I then watched it at home months later and....I just didn't get all the love. Maybe it's cuz I quit watching eons ago when the show went south, but the humor wasn't anything of what endeared me to the Simpsons in the first place.

I've been nodding off in cinemas more and more often recently, regardless of the quality of the film, and even if I'm wide awake when I go in. It's annoying.

Missed the climax of District 9 due to this problem.
I really wanted to like In the Mood for Love. I loved Fallen Angels and even liked 2046.
But I've fallen asleep three times watching a film I now think of as Maggie Chung in 1000 Dresses.

"Lord Of the Rings" trilogy. Yep, all three (1st one on DVD, others in the theatre.) Boredom, incomprehension, fatigue and a general lack of interest in the subject matter - a bit of each.

(Actually the first & third instalments were OK I guess, if too long. "Two Towers" I found impossibly boring except when Smeagle/Gollum was onscreen and the bits where I was a viking)

2001, and The Warriors: very regretful and do intend to rewatch both.
Tron: Legacy, and Indiana Jones And The Crystal Skull deserved it.

Ace Ventura 2. Luckily, I happened to wake up just as he was emerging from the rhino's ass, so I got to see the one legit funny scene.

In terms of home viewing, Brazil. Twice. Thankfully got through it on the third try and have loved it ever since.
