celine dion's music is pretty awful but it's also much easier to avoid than sjp

I'm actually a Celine Dion fan, think she is awesome - there's a lot more to her than people generally know, I think; her range is undeniable and when she's in her non-cheap-seats-reaching mode she is a singer of considerable power. this album is worth hearing. also if you ever saw that episode of VH1's Fanatic where she meets somebody who is totally living & dying with her music, the sincerity & realness she brings to the meeting, just the presence she brings in making that fan's day & making them feel good...she is fuckin' awesome imo

haven't ever seen anything sjp was in I don't think so this is an easy vote for me

yes celine's spirit as a performer and service to the public is unrivaled
