I have v few qualms abt taking off my shirt, usually, except when it's on the opening page of a thread that everyone will be reading for the next 3 months. Also I'm sort of bony and have a weird concave stomach and am just not really what you would call "pleasant to look at with his shirt off'

i'm back at work after 17 days off. hi guys.

the good news is that i'm still feeling pretty groovy from the california experience. like, all of my chronic stress just sloughed away my 2nd day of the trip and now i'm at work without the anxiety that normally occupies my cubicle hours.

m4tt's been kind of reclusive, not out of any thing with me, just generally. so anyway, we talked yesterday and it seems like we both sort of jumped the gun in terms of classifying our relationship or whatever. so, we finally came to this understanding that we're not an 'item,' that we're close close friends who sleep with each other and enjoy each other's presences both socially and sexually.

which is fine with me. i've talked about some of his problems of the past year here before, so i understand needing some distance. if i had lost someone and become so distraught that i tried to off myself, i'd definitely feel the way he feels.

also, yesterday, i had this sort of epiphanic moment where i was like, 'right, i can have sex with other people, that's awesome!' and feel pretty good right now.

all of this said, he came over last night and we watched Airplane!, drank hot toddies, and cuddled each other to sleep.

also, se4n and i kissed a little and had a really long, weird embrace on saturday night. and we're hanging out later this week. no expectations, but i'm excited that that's coming around again.
