Defend the Indefensible - Anne Geddes

Was reading the Thomas Kinkade (who I hadn't heard about before) thread and the first thing that came to mind was this:

which found nauseating, creepy and borderline terrifying from the moment I saw it. And I'm actually surprised not everyone would feel the same way. So, is there anything redeemable about this woman?

My mom has both Anne Geddes and Thomas Kinkade prints in her house. I prefer Kinkade by miles.
