i can't stop listening to her lately
she writes such gorgeous piano/harp arrangements, with intense often despairing often funny lyrics, and this quavering, swooping voice that reminds me of a bunch of people (antony, shirley collins, odetta maybe?) while sounding like nothing else i know. she also has the best version of 'idumea' on current 93's 'black ships eat the sky' afaic
she also, as youtube videos seem to suggest, is a total hoot live - a real wicked sense of humor that shows in the songs
