Is "100 Questions" the worst show in recent history?

I've seen two episodes so far. I was first blown away at the wildly inappropriate laugh track, which is one thing when it's used to color very very bad gags, but another thing when it's used to disguise the fact that there's not even a whiff of an attempt of humour in the dialogue. The acting's wooden, the characters utterly boring and unsympathetic to a character, the dialogue is so banal it's almost an artform. The main character has no charm whatsover. I'm waiting for them to pull it off the air next week, but I thought that would happen after last week too. Who's fucking whom to keep this abortion on the air?

"idg where the ratings are coming for this show i keep watching!?"

Yes, yes, yes. While I was watching I felt like it helped re-illuminate why every great sitcom (or even mediocre sitcom) is good. Because the writing is even just a tiny bit fresher than this show.

yeah this show is so incredibly bad i keep watching it as kind of a trainwreck. also David Walton was really funny in the movie Fired Up! and the show seems to have like exactly one funny person on the writing staff so every 7th joke makes me laugh.

does anyone else think this feels like a total How I Met Your Mother knockoff? no one thing about it is glaringly derivative of it, but between the flashback format of every episode, the laugh-track-but-no-audience, and the general kind of humor/group dynamic they're going for i keep feeling like i'm watching a weird smudgy xerox of HIMYM.

They both have the same crappy pseudo folksy music playing over supposedly profound realisations. God I hate that.

i'm gonna go and talk to some food about this (Ned Trifle II), Friday, 11 June 2010 09:25 (fifteen years ago)

Not unique to HIMYM obviously.

Actually it reminded me more of a terrible Friends.
