these people who have fucking music playing on their online profiles should crawl in a black hole and never come out: online etiquette, tips for the dumbass

1) when you attach a song to your online profile and the song starts playing immediately when i view it, sometimes it is REALLY LOUD IN MY EARS OR ON MY TINY LITTLE LAPTOP AND IT MAKES ME WANT TO KILL MYSELF.

2) don't call yourself cool, hot or smart. just don't do it.

3) if we're chatting and you link me to more than 3 songs that you want me to listen to in less than half an hour, you better know what the hell you're doing

it's an inseparable part of the experience. you must understand my personality on the most aural and visceral level possible.

4) screennames like "mycleverscreenname" are no longer a good idea
