what if you crossed a pluot with a kiwi? pleewee?

i dunno. "pluot" itself is such an awkward grammer mash-up, and yet it flows effortlessly. It is among my favorite words to enunciate. I trust that the geniuses of fruit genetics will find some other brilliant way to match up unlikely syllables for the next thing.

me too! damn things were always a pain to clean up. i like them okay but the memories of cleaning those stinky dudes up in the middle of summer kinda tempers my love for them.

anyway, my main point is:

good fruits

* kiwi
* apricots

bad fruits

* plums

Some plants love hybridizing! They work completely differently than animals when it comes to reproduction.

we usually refer to fruit varieties or cultivars, not whole species, when talking about discrete kinds. and those are usually cloned versions of the exact same plant, reproduced millions of times.
